Nice quiet location, with excellent facilities. Close to M4 motorway giving access to Swansea, Cardiff and other surrounding areas.

Very good value for money. Good base for exploring the area, coast, city and countryside. We appreciate the simplicity of the site. Not everyone wants swimming pools and discos.

Heronstone Lodges are perfect for a quiet holiday. We went in November and the central heated lodge was ideal for a late holiday, lovely and warm and clean, everything we needed was at hand. Loads of useful information about the area and attractions, proved to be a good base for touring a wonderful area. We would not hesitate to recommend this site.

The site is a sweet little park and a great place for all local visitor areas. Owner was extremely nice and helpful. Visitor book was very informative. Cabin was lovely, clean and tidy.

Heronstone is a lovely site, sheltered and tranquil. The lodge was well equipped, really cosy, and staff on hand friendly and helpful when we arrived and left.

We enjoyed a great weekend break in our log cabin. I would highly reccommend these comfortable lodges to anyone. The surrounding area is great for all outdoor activities, if only you could rely on the weather!

The weekend we had was glorious sunshine and I wish we had booked the lodge with the jacuzzi. I would recommend this holiday. There were lovely walks and plenty of peace and quiet.

It was a great holiday. The lodges were around a green where the children could play safely (play area there), and no other traffic came in. It was also within walking distance of Ystradgynlais with pubs and takeaways. A very easy to drive to the Brecon Beacons if you like walking. The kids had a huge amount of freedom and were out nearly all the time, and you could keep an eye on them from a covered verandah. A very relaxing holiday.
